This site doesn't ask for your information, and I don't sell anyone's.

Built by Arin is run by Arin Williams. This page explains what happens to information when you visit builtbyarin.com, book a Check, or work with me.

When you visit the site

There are no forms, accounts or ads on this site. I use two privacy-focused analytics tools, Rybbit and Vercel Web Analytics, to count visits and see which pages people read. Neither sets cookies or identifies you.
The calculator works only in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent or saved.
Like every website, the company that hosts it (Vercel) keeps basic visit records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. They use these to run and protect the site.
The fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives the same kind of basic request information when a page loads.

When you book a Check

Booking happens on TidyCal, a scheduling service. What you enter there, such as your name, email and company, comes to me so I can confirm and run the call. TidyCal's own privacy policy also applies.
I keep your contact details and notes about our conversations in my customer records so I can follow up.
Calls are on a video service. Notes may be taken during the call, and I say so at the start.

The client portal

Teams who book a Workshop get a login to my client portal at portal.builtbyarin.com. It runs on Flowlu, a business software service.
The portal holds what you'd expect: your contact details, quotes, invoices, payments, shared files and our messages.
Only you and I can see your portal. Flowlu stores it for me, and its own privacy policy also applies.

Deal, lead and customer lists

For a Check, I ask for lists with labels only (Deal A, Lead A, Customer A), rough values and dates. Please don't send names, phone numbers, emails or addresses.
I run those lists through an AI assistant in my own account to sort them. I don't use them for anything else, and I delete them when the Check is done.
In a Workshop, your team uses their own AI accounts. What goes into those accounts is covered by that AI company's terms, not mine.

Email

If you got an email from me and don't want more, reply "unsubscribe" and I'll stop.
If you email me, I keep the conversation so I can reply and follow up.

Sharing

I don't sell or rent anyone's information. I share it only with the services I use to run the business (hosting, analytics, scheduling, email, video calls, notes, my customer records and the client portal), or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, fix it, or delete it. Email arin@builtbyarin.com and I'll reply within 30 days. California residents have these rights under state law, and I extend them to everyone.

Children

This site and my services are for businesses. They aren't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
